Dr. D. Felipe Gaitan, PhD; Chief Scientific Officer, Impulse Devices.
Dr. Gaitan is an experimental physicist with a 20-year history in acoustic cavitation and cavitation physics. He received his doctorate in physics from the University of Mississippi under the direction of Lawrence Crum. In 1989, while still a graduate student at University of Mississippi, he discovered single bubble sonoluminescence, creating a new field of study in physics. His discovery and research in this area are internationally recognized and he is widely published. Dr. Gaitan was elected as a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) in 1996.

Dr. Wylene Dunbar, PhD, JD; CEO of Impulse Devices.
Dr. Dunbar received her doctorate in philosophy from Vanderbilt University and her law degree from the University of Mississippi. After a brief stint teaching philosophy, Dr. Dunbar practiced law in Oxford, Mississippi where she represented manufacturers and insurers in product liability and contract law litigation. Dr. Dunbar joined Impulse Devices in 2007 as its CEO. Before joining Impulse Devices, Dr. Dunbar was cofounder and director of the Acoustic Fusion Technology Energy Consortium (AFTEC).
Mark Ludwig; Chairman of the Board of Directors, Impulse Devices.
Mark Ludwig joined Impulse Devices in 2004 and served as the company’s CEO until 2007. Mr. Ludwig currently serves as chairman of Impulse Device’s Board of Directors. He also serves as Chairman of MedSeek, Inc., Chairman of Mixonic, Inc., and Chief Executive Officer of AirTreks, Inc. Prior to starting Transition Management in 1988, a strategic consultancy, Mr. Ludwig was Corporate Vice President at Gartner Group, leading strategic market analysts for high tech. He began his career at Xerox Corporation and held executive positions at Computer Automation and Western Digital Corp. Mr. Ludwig earned his BS in mathematics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his masters in business administration from Harvard University.
Dr. Peter L. Nelson, PhD; VP Corporate Development, Impulse Devices.
Dr. Nelson received his doctorate from the University of Queensland (Australia) in social science after first studying neuroscience. He has worked as a university professor as well as a research consultant to corporations, universities and government departments (Australia) and was the first full-time social scientist to be employed by Texas Instruments for the development of their Future Markets Research Group. Dr. Nelson has also specialized in the psychological profiling of individuals for the NSW, Australia district and local courts.
